Berea Church of Christ Staff

Berea Church of Christ is blessed to have a staff who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will.

Kevin White

Pulpit Minister

Kevin became the Puplit Minister at Berea Church of Christ on January 1, 2021. Prior to that, he had served as Berea's Interim Minister since October 1, 2020. Kevin has served as minister for churches in Hopewell Virginia, Marianna Florida, as well as Columbia & Cookeville, Tennessee.

The attributes that best describe Kevin as a minister are strong preaching with practical application to daily living, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to preach at a congregation like Berea Church of Christ, where God's Word serves as the foundation for all that is done with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Preaching, Bible Study and being involved in the daily lives of the congregation are things that are near and dear to Kevin's heart.

Kevin is an avid golfer and loves The Vols & Titans. He has coached High School and Junior Sports,  as well as Little League Baseball. He's pretty handy with a grill and loves to visit the beach and Smokey Mountains.  He was born in Henderson, TN and was raised primarily in Missouri. Upon graduation from High School, he came back to Tennessee to attend college.

Kevin graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 1983 with a degree in Bible and a degree in Business Management. He continued his graduate Bible studies at David Lipscomb University with an emphasis in biblical languages.

Kevin is  happily married to Delana Westmorland White, who was raised in Columbia, TN.  Twins, Samantha and Sawyer are Freshmen at Lebanon High School and are an active part of the Berea Youth Group.
