Berea has been a part of a yearly mission trip to El Salvador since 2007. Butch and Vona Reed help to lead this effort, along with many other congregations in our area.
Sneedville, Tennessee is located in Hancock County which is one of the poorest counties in the United States. Over the years, Berea has sent teams to work on many different kinds of projects. Our goal is to meet the physical needs of citizens so that we can meet their spiritual needs as well.
Our Benevolence team that meets one Sunday evening each month. Those who have contacted the church needing assistance meet with the benevolence team to assess the needs and how Berea can assist them.
Some members help keep the food pantry stocked, while others keep it organized. This is one of our best avenues to serve our community's financial and hunger needs in Wilson County.
